"The Naturalist"
Original Handcrafted ACEO Collage | 2.5 x 3.5 in | Signed by Artist Kim Hines
Adventure awaits in this wonderfully layered collage! A ghostly vintage figure — hat on head, umbrella in hand — stands like a seasoned and thoroughly proper explorer amid a world teeming with nature's finest. A stunning blue butterfly takes center stage below, while a small sparrow perches nearby and lush ferns frame the scene throughout. Vintage postage stamps, a delicate teacup, golden yellow blossoms, tiny botanical specimens, and a silver star are all tucked into the composition with masterful detail. Warm oranges and fresh greens give the whole piece the feel of a well-loved field journal come to life.
Refined, adventurous, and utterly enchanting — this explorer came prepared for anything, rain included! ☂️

Muse, General Manager/Owner and all around Creative
I am an artist, having devoted much of my life to performance and writing for theater. But in another life, I was a visual artist...and since time waits for no one, I decided to revisit that previous world of art and get back into doing art or aesthetic journals. It's a different world from when I left visual art. I have fallen in love, again, with all of the things that are out there to help me be more and more visually creative!
Who am I? "I'm Mollye, a Scottish Terrier who demands attention...hence the name of our shop, MOLLYE'S BITS AND BOBS!"
